Vacation Food

One of the best parts of the cruise was the formal dinners each night. I tried escargot (snails), baked Alaska, a unique type of sushi, and much more. Each dinner had an appetizer, main course, and a desert.
I also thought that I would show one meal I had for breakfast in Miami: Greek yogurt, fruit, and granola

      Appetizers:
                                                   Escargot

                                                  Grilled Mushrooms

                                                  "A Day in Sushi"

Main Dishes:
Pasta and grilled chicken

Steak

Spring Chicken

Deserts:
Chocolate Melting Cake (I had this two nights in a row)

Baked Alaska

South Beach, Miami FL

Last week I went to Miami, Florida! With basically my whole family (a group of 16). I fell in love with everything Miami had to offer: beach, shopping, and the people! We stayed on South Beach, and our hotel had a rooftop pool/ tanning area. Honestly, every hotel is completely gorgeous there and most have rooftop pool areas. My hotel actually had 2 different pools, one on the roof and one outside on the ground floor. It had a rain forest theme that is beautiful.
I feel the need to say that I over-packed, but I do not regret it at all haha. I somehow found use to every clothing item that I brought.

Summer Natural Hair Essentials

The first product I highly recommend is the Shea Moisture Shampoo in raw shea butter. It deep moisturizes naturally curly, dry, damaged, and weak hair to make it grow healthy! The Moroccan Oil conditioner from Organix works amazingly for me, it moisturizes and smells soooooooo good (plus it is a great conditioner for fighting tangles). Speaking of tangles, I recommend using a wide tooth comb to untangle your hair without pulling out your hair or damaging it.

This is my new favorite thing to use on my natural hair. The As I Am curling jelly defines your curls amazingly and spells heavenly. This product paired with the double butter cream moisturizer will guarantee well defined curls!

This is a look at my natural hair with nothing on it, as you can see it is  naturally wavy until I used the curling jelly (not pictured), I have short hair that's cut into a bob hairstyle. It is easier to see when my hair is straightened, but I am giving my hair a break from heat until I go to Miami next week.
Oh, and excuse my face because the flash was a little unexpected hahaha.

NY& Company and More Victoria Secret

Today I went shopping with my mom, New York and Company had a 50% off everything in the store today! I also went to Victoria Secret again haha. I purchased a body spray and a lotion from the scent "Total Flirt" in apple blossom and freesia. I must say that it smells absolutely amazing! One cannot have too much body spray.

The beige bag is from NY& Company which is big and perfect for any outfit. I can also fit my camera in it and still have tons of room left over. The black peplum shirt is from NY& Company it fits perfectly and it is adorable (it comes in several colors). The two dresses are my favorite purchases of the day. The all white one can go with any statement necklace and the patterned one is a statement itself!

Here is a closeup of the pattern, how gorgeous is that? :)

Victoria Secret and Summer Reading

Today I purchased a iPhone case from Victoria Secret as well as a body spray "Warm and Cozy" (which is my absolute favorite scent from VS). Plus, summer reading as to begin at some point this summer, so I got two books. Invisible Man for LA class and Mental Floss, History of the United States for AP U.S history. History is my favorite subject so I am hoping the book is interesting! Scroll down to see Kamryn and Jordyn's reaction to a part of the movie "Insidious 2"  hahaha.

Sephora Haul

While I was in Florida, I went to Sephora at the mall and went crazy! I purchased this skin care pack from Ole Henriksen that contains a serum, night gel, and moisturizer. So far so good, I love how the serum smells like oranges too! Then, I also was looking for a powder to help my oily skin (I am a victim of an oily T- zone) and the lady that works at Sephora said that Clinique products are the best for oily/dry skin. Blotting tissues also help to touch up and remove oil throughout the day. I would highly recommend the blotting tissues if you have oily skin.

Ft. Lauderdale 2014

This weekend I had my first summer trip to Ft. Lauderdale, FL! Me, my parents, and my sister went (my brothers had work and other things going on so they stayed at home). We woke up at 5 am to catch our 7 am flight to Florida and my alarm clock decided not to go off! So I was rushed out the door and I forgot my face wash products and my tooth brush (I bought those necessities when we got there, thank The Lord for CVS). As soon as we got there, we ate breakfast at a place called Salad Bowl.

After breakfast, we toured a yacht for my parent's party they were having the next night. It was truly gorgeous!
