Messy Room Tour

Before I completely take apart my room, I thought I should make a video of what it looks like before. My room is VERY MESSY right now I might add haha. I took out old furniture that will be replaced. Everything will be taken out of my room and given away to charity! The only things that will be left are my bed, desk, office chair, and bookshelves! Carpets are going to be removed as well and replaced. I am sooo excited.

This is what my room looks like right now, in the middle of all the craziness!

bareMinerals INSIDER

A special package came in the mail yesterday from Sephora! I am obsessed with eye makeup and I wanted to try something new for school. Lucky for me Sephora never disappoints! I found this bareMinerals Whipped Velvet Eye, Cheek, & Lips Set online for around $20 (usually $91). Plus, you get to pick samples with your purchase so I picked the Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream. I am so excited to experiment with these!

Miss Black US Ambassador Luncheon

Today I was part of the media for my mom's magazine at the Miss Black US Ambassador pageant luncheon. I saw a lot of gorgeous people and well-known as well! There was a winner from every state competing in the pageant this weekend. Today at the event, several people were honored in different categories for inspiring young African-American Women. Dr. Jackie Walters received the "Wellness and Fitness" Award for this inspiring women to stay healthy and beautiful.

Marc by Marc Jacobs Book bag

My school book bag for this year is a Marc Jacobs! It is my first product from Marc Jacobs ( I hope a watch is in my future). It can fit a 13 inch laptop, and is pretty big. I love the size and it has a small front pocket to keep various things. I ordered it 3 days ago and it came fast! The cost was originally $198, but I got it on sale for $168. The most important thing to remember about this book bag is to keep it as dry as possible.
I am completely in love with it.

A Little Shopping

Here are some purchases from yesterday, I did not go too crazy. My birthday and back to school shopping are going to be in little shopping trips throughout this month. I like to focus on the basics, layers, and statement pieces to make a simple, but stylish outfit. Being comfortable is a major must for me and reusing basic tops in different ways to get the best use of them.
I am in love with this shirt from Nike!

My Country Club and World of Coke

Today I spent the day with my favorite guy (my dad). We shopped endlessly and started the day at our country club. Breakfast was so yummy and so classy! Then, we went to take a tour of the World of Coke where we tasted coke beverages from almost every continent. My best friend Kamryn tricked me into trying the Beverly from Italy (NEVER TRY THE BEVERLY).
These are just a few pics from the top floor of my club.

I Love Mondays

Happy Monday! I love Mondays, because it's a new start to the week. A fresh start, everything can get better this week no matter what happened last week. I like to start my Mondays with a really good workout like Insanity. I know it is basically hell, but I love the results that it gives me. I also felt like getting my summer reading schedule back on, because I only have one more book left (which comes with a bunch of assignments). :( Make sure you start the week strong and get better every day! Be happier and work harder. Make this week amazing!
